This is an extremely rare set of johnson brothers made in england, the old mill. This pattern features a serene grist mill scene in monochromatic shades of brown with touches of colour. It is a traditional transferware dinnerware pattern that fits almost any home style decor: rustic, cottage or just vintage decor. The pattern has been in production during the second half of the last century, circa 1953 – 2003. These dishes show the old mill reflected in the water with trees and greenery all around. This set includes 14 dinner plates, 14 cups, 10 saucers, 2 cereal bowls, 6 luncheon plates, 4 salad plates, 7 bread and butter plates, 1 relish bowl, 2 gravy/sauce pitchers, and a small and large vegetable dish.
